Cocoa Butter
Shea butter is a natural fat extracted from the fruit of the shea or karite tree found in Africa. Shea butter is an excellent moisturizer and emollient and has shown natural anti-inflammatory capabilities. Shea butter can be beneficial for severely dry skin, chapped lips, stretch marks, wrinkles, skin discolorations, fading scars and burns, and may ease the irritation from skin conditions including eczema, acne, psoriasis, and rashes. Shea butter rapidly absorbs into the skin without leaving a greasy residue.
Cocoa butter, also called theobroma oil, is a natural vegetable fat of the cacao bean used to make chocolate. Cocoa butter is one of the most stable fats known, containing natural antioxidants, a smooth texture, sweet mild chocolate aroma, and excellent emollient properties. Cocoa butter has been used for centuries to keep skin soft and supple. When applied topically, a barrier is formed sealing in moisture and protecting sensitive skin from the environment. Cocoa butter can be beneficial in the prevention of stretch marks and to ease symptoms of skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. However, Cocoa butter in its raw form is hard, brittle, and can be difficult to use.

Bath Salts
The benefits of bath salts were first documented in the 5th century B.C. by the Greek physician Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine. Hippocrates connected the quick healing of skin injuries on fishermen to their repeated immersion in salt water. Use of bath salts can aid the body in cleansing pores, detoxifying, recovering from aching joints and muscles, as well as softening the bath water.
